Welcome to Maisy's Doghouse! Meet "Eyster's Midnight Millenium" Otherwise known as Maisy. This is my baby! All 5lbs of her. Maisy is a registered Tiny Toy Poodle. Her blood line is very impressive!! Champions all over the place. I have no intentions of showing her though. I had wanted a little Poodle all my life. I finally talked Chuck into letting me get one. We had a dog, Scarlett, who had been with us for 16 years. She was my husbands pride & joy. When we had to have her put to sleep, Chuck was heart broken. "No more dogs" "EVER". It took me forever to change his mind. It was eaither another baby, or a puppy! I told him! *LOL* It didn't take him but a second to agree....to getting a puppy. *BG* (I should have thought of that trick long ago) Anyway, There was not a tiny toy black girl poodle to be found in this area. So...I went to my favorite place for information...My computer. After about a week of looking, I finally found a breeder that had a newborn, black, girl tiny toy poodle. YIPEE! I had to go to Pennsylvania to get her. Pittsburgh to be exact. We went to look at her and she was so small she could fit in my little boys palm. Needless to say it was love at first site! I went back in 5 weeks to pick her up, and my boys had strict orders NOT to pick her up for any reason. Well, she has been our little joy for a year and a half now. She has had a few mishaps in that time. She jumped out of my arms one day and broke her leg. (as you see in the picture above). Finally got that all healed. (imagine a 4 1/2lb dog with a 2 1/2 lb cast on her leg) Then a few weeks later, we all went to town and left her here at home. When we came back, we noticed she had broken her other leg somehow. Probally by jumping off something. Sooo.... another 6 weeks in that awful cast. Uggg! Now when we leave her at home, she gets put in a large carrier so she doesn't do anymore damage to herself. What a brat! Here she is in her 1st cast. It didn't keep her down though! She could scoot with that thing! Here is Charlie with Maisy. A rare photo indeed. For some reason, Maisy doesn't like Charlie much, and nips at him every chance she gets. *hehe* ::Home::
