You took my heart, And now it seems, I have no way to hope...to dream. I did not know your plan for me. Who you thought that I could be. But now I'm here not knowing why. Loving you until I die. The pattern you've started continues on, even though I am no longer your pawn. The quiet way you let me know I'm safe within your care, The way you show you love me, The way your always there. How can I be who I am, without you by my side? How can I show love to you when with evil, I collide? The struggle that has battled on, has made me weak with fear. That someday when I turn around, I will not find you here. Crystal skies that are sparkling blue Where the grass just dances in the watery dew. Birds that sing the most beautiful song. And flowers that bloom all year long. A place where all people come together as one, And rejoice in the spirit when the day is done.
