Tools needed for this tutorial are as follows.

JASC PSP 7.04 You can download a free trial version here.

Corner brushes. You can download some great ones HERE.

A tube of choice.

Let's Get Started!

Step 1.

Open a new image 350x350, transparent. Go to selections> select all, then to selections> modify> contract> and type in 25. Now go to selections> invert.

Step 2.

Flood fill this selection with any color. The color doesn't matter, because it will disappear in a minute. *Smile*

Step 3.

Go to effects> inner bevel and apply using these settings. Deselect.

Step 4.

Go to Image> resize and resize your frame 75% making sure "resize all layers" is UNCHECKED.

Step 5.

Go to effects> cutout and apply using these settings.

See how the color disappears and it becomes transparent? Now you can minus this and set aside for now. We will be using it later.

Step 6.

Open a new image, 350x350, transparent. Flood fill with a color from your tube you are going to use. Go to effects> texture effects> blinds and apply using these settings.

Step 7.

Go to selections> all, then to selections> modify> contract and type in 25. Now go to selections> invert. Flood fill this selection with another color from your tube. Go to effects> texture effects> fine leather, and apply using these settings.

Step 8.

Now add the same inner bevel as before in step 3. Selections> invert. Add a new layer. Go to effects> cutout and apply using these settings.

Add another new layer and apply the cutout again only this time change to minus 4 on the vertical and horizontal. Deselect.

Step 9.

Add a new layer. Locate your tube and add it to the middle of your image. If you have resized it, make sure you sharpen it by go to image> sharpen> sharpen. Now go to Effects> texture effects> mosaic antique and apply using these settings.

If you see little specks on your frame after applying the Mosaic antique, use your eraser tool to erase them from your frame.

Step 10.

Now it's time to activate your transparent frame we made earlier. Go to edit> copy. Now activate your mosaic image, edit> paste as new layer. Now activate your transparent frame and we are going to resize it one more time. Go to image> resize and resize it using the same settings as before. Now go to edit> copy ( on your transparent frame) Activate your mosaic image, Edit> paste as new layer. This is what we should have now.

 Step 11.

Add a new layer. locate your tube again and resize it to fit in the middle of your image. Make sure you sharpen if you had to resize. Now add a drop shadow with these settings.

Step 12.

Add a new layer. Make sure your new layer is on the top. Click on your paint brush tool. Now click on the little paintbrush on the upper right corner of the box. Choose "custom". Locate the corner brush you want to use for your frame, making sure you size it to fit your image. When you have added it to your image, use your mover tool to move it into place. Now we are going to add a inner bevel to the brush using the "Round" preset that came with your PSP.

Step 13.

On your layer pallet, duplicate your top layer then go to image mirror. You should have your second corner on the opposite side of your image. Now duplicate the top layer again, then go to image> flip. You should have a corner on one of the upper parts of your image. Now duplicate that top layer again, then go to image mirror. Now you should have all four corners on your image.

Merge visible, and you're done!
